The Henhouse Salon has been serving Cochrane since 2007, offering a wide variety of services such as; hair styling, artificial nails, eyelash extensions, waxing, sugaring, and more. We are exclusive to an amazing product line from Italy Davines and their sister company Mood!
We consider our clients not only as friends but as family and strive to create long and lasting relationships. Our feeling of family also extends to the community of Cochrane as we actively give back to our hometown.

Meet The Team
Lynne
Owner/Stylist
Lynne has been a hairstylist since 2009 and an extension specialist since 2019. She specializes in fashion colours, highlights, and various extension techniques. She loves to get involved in community work and spending time with her family. At this time she is only accepting new clients by referral.
Lisa
Stylist
Lisa has been a hair stylist since 2004 and with the Henhouse since 2008 She has proven herself to be a very professional, well-educated stylist. She specializes in precision cuts, highlights and vibrant colouring. Visit Lisa for the look you want and she will help you achieve it.
Lisa is currently accepting new clients.

Michele
Stylist
Michele has been a hairstylist since 1985. Throughout her career she’s managed to stay up to date with current hair styles and colours and is still actively practising traditional styles and perms. One of Michele’s favourite things to do is colouring and cutting short hair styles.
Michele is not taking new clientele at this time.
Lindsey
Stylist
Lindsey has been a stylist since 2009 with many of those years in Cochrane. She specializes in Balayage, Blonde
Highlights, Curly hair techniques and short edgy cuts. Lindsay is available five days a week with one evening shift on Monday.
Lindsay is accepting new clients.
Mckayla
Nail Tech
Mckayla is our student nail tech who has been working hard at her technique and designs for today's nail trends. She looks forward to furthering her career in Cochrane and meeting new clients as she grows as a nail technician.

Stylist/Esthetician
Tess has been doing hair since 2018, where she apprenticed at the Henhouse. Now with 8 years of experience, Tess has developed many different skills including advanced hair techniques, Gel nail application and nail art as well as sugaring and waxing. Tess is only accepting referrals at this time.
Janelle
Nail Technician
Janelle is a passionate nail technician with over 10 years of experience in the industry. She prides herself on attention to details and dedication to providing outstanding service. Her goal is to ensure each client leaves feeling pampered and satisfied. She loves what she does and cant wait to help you achieve the style you are looking for!
Kimberlee
Stylist
​With over 15 years of experience, Kimberlee loves creating natural, Lived-In highlights and chic short cuts that bring out each client’s personality. Her focus is on making hair effortless, modern, and easy to love between appointments- while keeping up with everyday hair needs.
Joee
Lash Extension Artist
Joee has been a lash technician for 2 years and loves exploring the new designs with color and sparkle. She enjoys spending time in the mountains, going to concerts and making memories with family and friends.
Annick
Stylist
Annick is a senior stylist with 22 years of experience, skilled in working with all hair lengths and creating beautiful blonde tones using various highlighting techniques. She excels at crafting unique, fun hairstyles and is dedicated to understanding each client's needs. She is Bilingual in French which makes her chair welcoming to our French speaking community. She is currently accepting new clients.

Senior Apprentice
My name is Gracie. I just finished my second year of education at Niwe Academy. I am a young hairdresser with an eye for detail and love for being creative. I aspire to master all aspects of hairdressing and specialize in curly hair, intricate women's styles and men's cuts. My ambition is to specialize in diverse techniques and dedicate my time to becoming a versatile and sought-after professional in the industry. Fun facts about me, I love the wilderness, large and small animals and creating pottery.
​Shannon has had her licence since 1982, wearing many different hats in the industry. She has since retired from Cosmetology Instructor with the CBE after 23 years. She enjoys all the aspects of being a stylist!

Jade joined us as our main receptionist. When Jade is not with us at the salon, you can find her playing baseball or busy chasing after her two children on a beautiful acreage in the quiet area of Waiparous.
